| Kimono c/o Urban Cowgirl | Red Top | Heels |

Hey Guys!

I have been sooooo excited to share this post with all of you! I’m loving lightweight and bright layering pieces these days and when my girlfriend wore her Urban Cowgirl Kimono on our Kelowna trip recently, I was having a bit of kimono envy! Lol. I love shopping local and Urban Cowgirl is based out of my hometown in Lethbridge, AB. She has the cutest selection of kimonos, tanks and some kids t’s and she has a ton of florals to choose from which is so up my alley 🙂 The colours on this piece are amazing and with summer here, this fabric is so perfect and lightweight to throw over a tank or even use as a coverup at the beach. I actually had a red swimsuit on under this exact kimono last week and it was so cute! In these photos, I paired it with a cute flowy red top to make the colors pop and an older pair of ivory wedges. 3/4 of the way through photographing this look, it hit me how great my red bottom Loubs would be and because I have the best hubby/photographer in the world, we shot both looks! It is a great testament to the versatitlity of this look, and how easy it would be to go from day to night.

The kimono’s come in different fabrics, so take a peek when you are selecting. Mine is a really lightweight flowy spandex, perfect for summer or the beach. Misty’s was a bit heavier and more of a multiseason piece. The lace around the bottom is an add on, so make sure to add it to your cart when you are checking out.  It’s so pretty and really makes the look. I think it’s totally worth the upgrade. As far as fit goes, the draping and length of these are so perfect. I like that they sit below the bum so you can pair them with leggings and the sleeve length is very flattering. Here are the links to shop this look in Instagram and in her shop. Head over and take a peek!

As always, THANK YOU for all the encouragement and support. You guys are the best and I am so grateful. Stay tuned for my next post wrapping up the details of Ella’s birthday party on Butterfield Acres farm. Where I milked a goat. For reaaaaal.

XO Lesley

ps – I just noticed on her Instagram that she makes kids kimono’s by custom order…I’m feeling tempted 🙈
